Recently we have been alerted to issues where wallets are not able to establish connections to the network and therefore unable to sync with the XTRABYTES™ network.
To resolve this issue you need to place the Peers.dat (Updated 2 February 2020) file in the same location as your wallet.dat.
Windows: C:\Users\<Windows Username>\AppData\Roaming\xtrabytes
Mac: $HOME/Library/Application Support/xtrabytes/ OR /Users/username/Library/Application Support/xtrabytes/
On a mac the files can be hidden. Press Command + Shift + . to temporarily unhide the files

If this fails to resolve the issue then its likely some local software (Antivirus/Firewall) is causing connection issues. Please add the wallet software to the list of exceptions on the AV/Firewall.
