This tutorial will explain the basic functions of the forum and how to use them.
First create a forum account and verify it through the link sent to your email account.
Once you are verified and logged in there are a few things to configure.
Setting a profile picture/avatar
Start by clicking your account name on the right side of the screen and go to Your Profile Page.
On your profile page, click the big question mark on the left. This will allow you to set a profile picture/avatar. Find a picture you want to use, and save it to your computer. Select choose file, find the picture and click Open. Now click Okay to upload the picture, then close this box. You should now see a picture appearing where the grey question mark used to be.
Setting a signature
A signature is a short message that will appear under every post you make on the forum. It could be anything you like.
If you want to set a forum signature, click on your profile name on the right side of the screen and select Signature.
This will bring you to the signature page. Here you can create your own personal signature. Please keep your signature short and clean, do not add 50 links. Click Preview to see how it looks, then click Save Changes when you are satisfied with the result.
Topics and posts
The Forum is divided into several main sections, each with their own subsections containing topics related to the parent section.
Browse around to get familiar with the layout of the forum.
If you have a question or would like to create a new topic, search the forum first to see if a similar topic has already been created. The search function is located in the top right corner of the forum.
Replying to a thread
If you want to reply to a thread, scroll to the bottom of the thread and write your reply in the box. If you want a bigger view, click More Options. Once you are finished writing your reply, click Reply to Thread in order to post it to the forum. Your post will be visible on the last page of that thread.
If you want to Quote a post and reply directly to one post in a thread, click Reply on the in the far right part of the post. The post will now appear in quotes above your reply.
Making a new thread
If you didn’t find the topic you were looking for by searching, you can create a new one.
First, find the appropriate category for your topic. If your topic is related to the wallet, go to the Wallets category. Create a new thread by clicking the Post New Thread button in the top right corner.
First, give your thread a title. The title should reflect the general content of the thread.
Second, write the content of your post into the second box. You can add tags to make it more easily searchable if you want, but it is not required.
You can also upload files and images that will be included in the thread by clicking Upload file.
Once you are finished with the main content of the thread, click Preview to see how it will look. If you are satisfied with the preview, click Create Thread. Your thread has now been posted to the forums and is visible to everyone.
